Terms of Service
The rules for using humanifying.ai — plain and short. The headline: use it honestly, we don’t store your detector text, and no tool guarantees a result.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of humanifying.ai (the “Service”), operated by Blackwood Productions (“we,” “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
humanifying.ai provides AI-content detection and text-rewriting tools via a website, browser extension and API. Detection results are probabilistic estimates, not definitive proof, and are provided for your own judgment.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- commit academic dishonesty or misrepresent authorship where original work is required;
- deceive, defraud, impersonate, or create content intended to mislead or harm others;
- generate unlawful, infringing, hateful, or abusive content;
- evade detection in order to commit fraud or violate another party’s rules or law;
- resell, scrape, or abuse the Service or its API outside your plan.
We built humanifying to protect honest writers and improve real content — not to enable cheating or deception. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
4. Plans, credits & billing
Paid plans and pay-as-you-go credits are billed as described at checkout. Credits are consumed per word processed. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access through the paid period. Prices may change with notice.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of text you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that text solely to provide the Service. Text submitted to the detector is not retained after returning your result; see our Privacy Policy.
6. No guarantee
The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that any text will pass, or be flagged by, any particular third-party detector, or any specific outcome. Detection and rewriting are best-effort and imperfect.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on detection results. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three months.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
